Thought Leader: Christina Bretz, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Christina Bretz is an occupational therapist from Lexington, KY. She has been with Learning Without Tears (LWT) for the past 23 years. Currently, she is the Senior Internal Learning Manager for LWT and an adjunct professor at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. She has experience in early childhood education, school based occupational therapy, home health and telehealth.
Thought Leader: Suzanne Asherson, OTD, MA, OTR/L
Dr. Suzanne Asherson is a pediatric occupational therapist from Los Angeles, CA. Since 2008 she has been a Learning Without Tears National Presenter and Subject Matter expert. Suzanne has many years experience working for Beverly Hills Unified School District as a school based OT and working in private schools around the Los Angeles area. Suzanne has been prominently featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times.
Get to Know the Host: Dr. Cheryl Lundy Swift
Cheryl holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, is a distinguished educational leader, and has been recognized with multiple awards for her achievements. She served as the lead curriculum developer for Learning Without Tears' Get Set for School Language and Literacy curriculum, which received an AEP Distinguished Achievement Award, and was awarded the Investors Bank Educator of the Year Award.
