Building upon the foundation of Handwriting Without Tears, students learn unique letter formations through child-friendly, straightforward language and large, step-by-step models that make learning each stroke simple and fun.

A child's ability to recognize and use the alphabet is a crucial indicator of their success in reading, emphasizing the importance of learning these skills during kindergarten. During this time, students are introduced to uppercase letters learned in Pre-K, followed by lowercase letters in a sequential approach, such as A-Z for Mat Man and Me, to support reading development.
