The mantra for the chakra is “Yam”. The chakra is connected with the element of air. And the person at this level shows itself as air: it is already more subtle energy, than the element of water at the level of Svadhistana, but impermanence and frivolity are still present. The main distinguishing features of the chakra are love and acceptance. If the consciousness is at the level of Anahata, such a being can be called a Man with a capital letter. All human qualities – love, compassion, desire to help others, self-sacrifice. It is worth noting that compassion and desire for good to others at this chakra level often take very peculiar forms and often cause more problems than good. But those who have raised their consciousness to the level of anahata are capable of understanding others, sympathizing with their sufferings, seeing others’ pain and genuinely aspiring to help them, though based on their own personal, not always objective, understanding of what is good and what is bad. There is an opinion that if a person has risen in his development up to the level of Anahata-chakra, then 90% of his/her suffering stops. Negative manifestations of this chakra are love addictions, jealousy, resentment. Leaving the body through this chakra guarantees reincarnation in the world of people. This means that everyone who is reading this article now has left the body through the anahata chakra, and this does not give us the moral right to lower our consciousness below it.
